I am honoured to participate in this Annual Green Youth Indaba 2015. The economy is going green and the green economy will be the mainstream of the future. The jobs of the future have not yet been conceptualised. Young people need to be educated now. Young people need to be skilled now. Young people need to be employed now.

Honourable Buti Manamela - Deputy Minister The Presidency

I would personally like to congratulate the team who have put together this phenomenal event, and who had the vision and foresight to include our youth in the green economy. In 2014, when the Green Youth Indaba staged its highly successful maiden event, we knew that the Fibre, Processing and Manufacturing (FP&M) SETA had to be part of this necessary and expanding forum.

I am indeed honoured to stand here before you today on a grand occasion, that is yet another testimony, another milestone in the developmental agenda and the history of our beloved country in which we focus on Green Jobs to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Phathekile Holomisa - Deputy Minister Department of Labour
